About Us

Embelliss is owned and run by me, Ali Beamish. I discovered cross stitch around the age of 10 and haven´t looked back.

I love creating things with my hands and have a special love of anything involving fabric which led me to do a Textiles degree when I left school.

Having recently given birth to a little girl, I now spend my days designing and making cross stitch and anything else crafty I can get my hands on - in between feeding, changing nappies and general baby things, of course!

I am aiming to bring cross stitch into the 21st Century by creating not only beautiful pieces of cross stitch, but also something that can be worn or decorate a room. Some of my designs will be available in a variety of colour palettes to best suit a particular colour scheme.
